Ghanaian musician Medikal and her alienated wife Fella Makafui appear independently before Nungua Stool over land papers
Ghanaian popular actress Fella Makafui and Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal have been summoned by the Nungua Stool about their land documents which have surfaced across the social media platforms recently.
Rev. Dr. Gyasi Ankrah, Director of Administration at the Office of the Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, issued the summons which instructs both Samuel Adu Frimpong and Fella Makafui to appear at the palace on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:00 am with their complete documentation for verification.
However, Fella Makafui was seen in an online shared photo with her fellow actress Habiba Sinare and other attendants after the meeting with the chiefs.
In a Facebook post by journalist Caleb Nii Boye, he shared details of the meeting: “Fruitful meeting it was. Fella Makafui Came but without the land documents, Medikal couldn’t make it but called to inform the chiefs. They have been asked to come back on Tuesday with the land documents.”
Caleb Nii Boye later posted another detail of the meeting after making claims that Medikal did not attend. “Aftermath of the Medikal meeting with Nungua Traditional Council. Medikal didn’t come to the meeting with the documents requested for, so he has been asked to return on Tuesday at 11 am with the said document.”
The couple’s well-reported divorce coincides with this development. Medikal and Fella Makafui, previously regarded as one of Ghana’s most attractive couples, have been enduring a difficult divorce.
Both of them are still co-parenting their daughter, Island Frimpong, and reside in the same home despite their divorce.
Further issues have arisen as a result of this arrangement; according to reports, Medikal has asked Fella to kick her cousin out of the residence.
To further complicate their continuing conflict, Fella has also asked the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to investigate Medikal.
Furthermore, the ownership of their house has turned into a major source of conflict. Although Medikal says he added Fella’s name for their daughter’s benefit, he still maintains all financial responsibility for the home.
Fella, on the other hand, contests this assertion, claiming that she helped build the home and that she can provide evidence of her role in court, emphasizing the material and emotional contributions she made to their marriage.
The authorities believe they must look into the case because of the contradictory allegations.
The names of Fella and Medikal appear on the land records, which caused the Nungua Stool to step in and confirm the veracity of these allegations.

Autopsy reveals drug reaction as a possible cause of Mohbad’s death
According to the autopsy report on the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known by his stage as Mohbad, a drug reaction may have contributed to his death.
The autopsy and toxicology results from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, according to The Cable, pointed to a potentially lethal anaphylactic shock or drug response as the reason for Mohbad’s demise.
Anaphylactic shock is a severe allergic reaction that can be life-threatening.
The report states that samples of the late singer’s blood, bone marrow, liver, kidney, and lung were taken by the hospital for a toxicology test.
The report was said to have showed traces of Diphenhydramine, an antihistamine, in the late singer’s blood system.
Antihistamines are drugs used to treat allergies, stomach problems, colds, and anxiety, among other conditions.
The autopsy report was, however, said to have revealed that the concentration of the drug was not fatal or lethal to harm or lead to his death.
The anatomical and pathological tests also revealed an injury on Mohbad’s right forearm and moderate to severe decomposition of his body, which was exhumed eight days after burial.
However, no significant gross findings could be attributed to his death, according to the report.
The report reads, “It is noteworthy that the body neither had an autopsy nor embalmed prior to interment on the second day.
“Following the Order for Exhumation, the body was exhumed on 21/09/2023 (8 days after the burial).
“Autopsy revealed moderate to marked decomposition of organs. Apart from the superficial injury on the right forearm, no significant gross finding could be attributed to death.
“Against this background, samples were taken for toxicology. This is to determine if there was any anaphylactic reaction, substances of abuse, overdosage or common household poisoning.”
The autopsy report highlighted the importance of timely blood sampling to determine fatal anaphylactic shock, which was not possible in this case due to Mohbad’s burial on the second day.
It added, “Toxicology revealed positive findings of Diphenhydramine, an anti-histamine; however, this concentration was not in a fatal or lethal range. The other analytics were unremarkable.
“In determining fatal anaphylactic shock, a blood sample needs to be taken as quickly as possible.
“Unfortunately, this was prevented or made impossible by the burial of the deceased on the second day. In the light of the foregoing, the cause of death could not be ascertained.
“However, the possibility of a fatal anaphylactic shock (drug reaction) could be considered in view of the absence of any significant post-mortem and toxicology findings.”
Mohbad, a 27-year-old artist formerly signed to Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music, passed away on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances that sparked widespread debate.
In response, the Lagos State Police Command established a 13-member special investigation team on September 18, 2023, to investigate the death.
The incident led to the arrest of Naira Marley, Balogun Eletu (also known as Sam Larry), and others.

I’ve never been in love before’ – Singer Tems reveals
Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, has revealed that she has never been in love.
The 28-year-old songstress asserts that she does not think love is something a person experiences mindlessly but purposefully and with open eyes.
She pointed out that choosing to be in love is a deliberate choice made without being blind.
According to Tems, people may erroneously confuse infatuation for love. She hasn’t yet had this intense affection for someone, in her opinion.
She said, “I haven’t been in love. Loving someone for me is more of ‘I see you and I still want to be in your life. Even though you annoy me sometimes, I choose you and I choose you.
“I would like to be in love, to experience something deep but really real not blind. I don’t believe that love is blind, I think if you really love someone you’re loving them with your eyes open
“I feel like people get infatuated, and they call that falling in love. If you’re blind, that is not love. Love is when you’ve seen the person, their yansh is open and you’re like ‘I still want it. I still want that.’ I want someone to see my goods and be like, ‘Yeah, give me some of that.”

Never think you are dealing with poor people – Family of deceased 3-year-old to Lil Win
In their pursuit of justice, the family of a three-year-old boy killed in an accident involving well-known actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, has threatened to take legal action.
A family member cautioned in an interview with Angel FM that although the victim did not come from a poor family, they should not be taken for granted.
“He thinks he is dealing with a bunch of poor people… we have taken this matter very seriously. Some utterances by his PRO (Public Relations Officer) led a presenter to caution me against being paid off, and I told him that everyone who knows our family in Kumasi knows that we are not destitute or hungry people.
“If you look at the Nyarko Towers where we live, that is just a small place we have rented in town, we travel home on weekends,” said an uncle of the deceased.
“So if they think they are dealing with some weak people that they can bully, they should be careful,” he added.
Lil Win was granted GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court following his arrest on Monday, June 3.
Lil Win was arrested shortly after being released from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital by Manhyia Divisional Command’s Motor Traffic and Transport Department officers.
The actor’s car was involved in a recent accident that unfortunately claimed the life of a three-year-old kid, which is why he was arrested. The incident had left the child’s family demanding justice, but because of Lil Win’s condition, the police waited off on making the arrest.
Margaret Adjei-Twum, Lil Win’s lawyer, argued in favor of bail, pointing out that her client needed more care due to injuries, including internal bleeding.
She gave the court her word that Lil Win, as a well-known person, would follow the law.
The judge granted bail and postponed the case to June 27, 2024.
